ComatReleco also played a part in the successful MakeHeatSimple energy-saving campaign with its CMS-10R remote control device.
The programme was launched by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy and has been implemented by EnergieSchweiz since 2019 with the aim of encouraging owners of holiday homes and second homes to install remote heating controls. Such systems make it possible to easily control heating remotely, saving energy and costs without compromising on comfort.
The campaign spread this message throughout Switzerland via a variety of channels, from placemats in mountain restaurants and out-of-home advertising to social media campaigns and partner events. With great success: During the campaign, over 90,000 heating systems were equipped with remote controls, representing a potential saving of up to 280 GWh of energy per year. Numerous committed partners – including ComatReleco – contributed significantly to this success, thereby supporting a more efficient use of heating energy.
